| Case Study: Branding Work for Caitlin Weiler |
For this blog post, I’d like to share a case study on a current client, and friend of mine, Caitlin Weiler. When I first met Caitlin, I was originally pitching her to come on as a spokes-model for a brand I was working with, and even though that didn’t work out, we both knew we would be working together down the road, just by the chemistry and mind-set we both had. So eventually, we re-connect and start talking about her brand and image, and she asks me to come in and help her figure out the next steps. After mapping out her future goals, defining her brand in greater detail, and really discussing how to push forward, we began to take action.
First up, I did a complete website overhaul for her, (www.caitlinpatriciaweiler.com), which involved weeks of gathering content from her portfolio: from copy, to images, to past works and more- then we had to format everything and, working together, we came up with a layout to showcase her best work in a clean and direct manner.
From there we did a lifestyle photo-shoot together to capture her in a way that can create new social content for her, but also capture her in a niche environment (in this case fitness and wellness) so that the potential for more brands to be interested in working together was apparent. With the photoshoot, we also shot a simple demo video for featuring a brand’s (Lane Eight SHoes) product in-action: https://youtu.be/KrJRsgthN2Q
Moving forward, we are constantly exploring more ways to connect her brand with other businesses, as well as to pursue all the amazing philanthropic work she is doing in the meantime. We have alot in the works and can’t wait to share more of the journey.
